A thousand-year-old craft called Makana or gualaceño fine cloth. Its name comes from the Quechua language and in Spanish means shawl. This textile is made by hand, with 100% natural fibers and dyes. The designs are unique and ancestral coming from the environment where Makana is crafted – in Gualaceo canton of Ecuador. Makana is used for table covers, home decoration and clothes elaboration.
